KVC Westerlo vs Kortrijk (16 January 2027, Jupiler Pro League): match facts, H2H and recent form

KVC Westerlo head into the clash at home perched in 13th place with seven points from two wins, one draw and three defeats, having scored 13 and conceded 16. Their visitors, Kortrijk, languish at the foot of the table on 0 points after six straight losses, managing just a solitary goal while letting in 15. Westerlo’s modest goal difference suggests they have the edge, but the gap in confidence between a side that has already tasted victory and a team yet to win a match this season could prove decisive. If Westerlo can tighten up defensively, the home side will likely look to extend their modest lead in the standings, while Kortrijk will be desperate for a first point to halt their slide. The encounter promises a clear contrast between a side fighting to climb out of the lower mid‑table and one battling to escape the bottom.
