Union Berlin vs Eintracht Frankfurt (29 August 2026, Bundesliga): match facts, H2H and recent form

The Bundesliga clash at the Union-Platz ended in a thrilling 3‑3 draw, leaving the hosts still stranded in 16th place with just one point from three matches, having scored four and conceded ten. Frankfurt, sitting ninth with four points after a win, a draw and a loss, improved their goal tally to seven while still letting in eight. Both sides entered the game with identical head‑to‑head records this season – a single stalemate and no victories for either side. The goal‑fest offered a brief respite for Union’s relegation battle but did little to close the gap, while Frankfurt’s position in the top half remains precarious despite the three points collected.
