Bastia – Amiens

Bastia’s home ground became a hostile venue as Amiens stormed to a 3‑0 victory, widening the gap between the two clubs in the tightly packed table. The Corsican side, currently eighth with nine points from three wins and three defeats, saw their goal difference slip to minus three after conceding three without reply. Amiens, sitting just below in ninth place, moved to eight points, their record improving to two wins, two draws and two losses and boosting their goal tally to six for and two against. The result also settled the season’s head‑to‑head, giving Amiens the sole win in their two meetings. Both sides now face a crucial run of fixtures as they battle to climb out of the lower half of the league.
