Cambuur – Excelsior

Excelsior turned a hostile visit to Cambuur’s side of the league into a dominant 4‑0 victory, widening the gap between the two clubs that have already split their head‑to‑head this season. The win lifted the Rotterdam side to sixth place with ten points from five games, while Cambuur slipped further down to 15th with just four points. Excelsior’s three wins and a draw contrast sharply with Cambuur’s solitary victory and four defeats, reflected in the 13‑7 goal difference for the visitors against Cambuur’s 9‑18. The result not only reinforced Excelsior’s recent superiority but also left Cambuur in a precarious position as the campaign heads toward its crucial stages.
