Heerenveen vs Cambuur (6 December 2026, Eredivisie): match facts, H2H and recent form

Heerenveen host Cambuur in a crucial mid‑table clash, with the hosts sitting 11th on six points after one win, three draws and two defeats, scoring seven and conceding nine. Cambuur, languishing in 15th place, have collected four points from one victory, one draw and four losses, while their defence has leaked 18 goals against just nine scored. The gap between the two sides is narrow on paper, but Heerenveen’s slightly better defensive record could prove decisive on their own turf. Both teams will be eager to improve their positions, and a win for Heerenveen would extend their lead over the relegation‑threatened Cambuur, who will be desperate to close the gap before the final stretch of the season.
