Telstar vs Fortuna Sittard (21 March 2027, Eredivisie): match facts, H2H and recent form

Telstar host Fortuna Sittard in what promises to be a pivotal clash for both sides, with the home side languishing in 13th place on five points after one win, two draws and three defeats, and a modest -6 goal difference (5‑11). Across the table, Fortuna sit comfortably in seventh, having amassed ten points from three victories, a draw and two losses, but their defensive frailties are evident in a -2 goal margin (12‑14). The gap in form and points means Telstar will be desperate to close the six‑point divide, while Fortuna will look to cement their top‑half ambitions and keep the pressure on the leaders. Their recent head‑to‑head meetings have been tightly contested, suggesting a battle where a single goal could swing the result and potentially reshape the mid‑table race.
