Northwich Victoria – Atherton Collieries

The home side Northwich Victoria fell to a 2‑3 defeat at the hands of Athlete Collieries, handing the visitors a valuable three points. This result tips the head‑to‑head balance this season in favour of Atherton, who now hold the sole win from the two meetings, with Northwich yet to register a victory. Both clubs entered the match with incomplete data on their league positions, but the three‑point swing will undoubtedly shift the table dynamics for each side. The high‑scoring affair also underlines the attacking intent of both teams, with the visitors edging out the hosts in a tightly contested encounter.
