Venezia – Fiorentina

Venezia’s season‑opening nightmare continued as they were outplayed at home by Fiorentina, succumbing to a 2‑4 defeat. The loss leaves the Serie B side rooted to the bottom of the table in 20th place, still on zero points after four straight defeats and a goal deficit of 4‑11. Fiorentina, meanwhile, climb to 15th with three points, having secured their first win of the campaign while still conceding eleven goals. The result also tips the head‑to‑head tally in the league, giving Fiorentina the sole victory in their two meetings this season.
